For the best results with your labels, we recommend that certain guidelines are adhered to. We’ll try and help you with the design process where possible, however, if you’re unable to create the artwork yourself, we recommend using our Label Design service.
Choosing the correct software package from the start will eliminate the chances of design conversion errors when we come to print your labels. We recommend the use of a vector software package, rather than graphical design software. This will allow your designed to be properly scaled should that be required.
Recommended packages include Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
File formats we accept are .jpg / .jpeg / .gif / .png / .pdf
To ensure no delays in processing, please make sure all images and graphics are flattened and embedded into you design (particularly in .pdf format before submitting.
The standard label size for our bottles is:
152mm wide x 102mm high.
When setting up your label design, please keep in mind that our printing system will need a bleed of approximately 3mm to avoid blank spaces within your label artwork.
If you are using custom fonts in your design, please make sure to convert them flattened outlines, as some fonts are unable to be printed as editable text and may change the label layout.
For colours, we recommend using CMYK rather than RGB, as it is a much more accurate representation in print form compared to RGB. Should any format other than CMYK be used, we cannot guarantee colour compatibility.
